Visit official websiteVAMPIR gear enhancement priority is to handle quest-required upgrades, then invest in equipment you expect to keep, prioritizing weapons, gloves, and helmets. Early resources are limited, so upgrading every new drop or perfecting temporary equipment can consume materials needed for more lasting progress. The order and enhancement thresholds below follow third-party global-version guidance; use them alongside the equipment requirements and warnings shown in your game.
Choose equipment worth keeping before spending
Start by separating a required quest upgrade from an optional investment in your current equipment. Early-game guidance recommends completing upgrades explicitly requested by quests while saving other resources for rare items worth retaining. Common white-tier equipment is replaced quickly, making it a poor destination for heavy early spending. A quest requirement can justify upgrading a temporary piece, but it does not make every other temporary item worth the same investment.
Milestone and achievement rewards also affect which equipment is worth acquiring yourself. A global-version beginner guide describes a rare Tier 1 weapon arriving around level 25, with additional armor awarded as you continue leveling. That makes free reward equipment a useful bridge instead of immediately spending gold and crafting materials on a complete rare set. Treat that level as approximate, and consider the rewards you actually have before committing resources to fill every slot.
Prioritize weapons, then gloves and helmets
For equipment intended for long-term use, the global-version guide recommends investing in weapons first, followed by gloves and then helmets. Apply that order after deciding whether the item itself is worth keeping. It is a spending priority for selected equipment, rather than a reason to enhance whichever weapon happens to drop next. Keeping item longevity and slot priority together helps avoid spending valuable resources on equipment you already expect to replace.
Leave temporary secondary attributes alone unless you have a separate, clearly justified reason to spend on them. The same guide identifies resetting those attributes as a common early waste because the underlying equipment may soon be replaced. Before crafting an alternative, check whether a dungeon or story reward can supply the item. This makes checking upcoming rewards part of choosing an upgrade, instead of treating crafting and enhancement as unrelated decisions.
Know the reported safe enhancement thresholds
The global-version guide lists safe enhancement caps of +6 for weapons and +4 for armor. It gives accessories a cap of +1 and special equipment a cap of +3. These are separate equipment categories, so the weapon threshold should not be applied to an accessory or special item. Check the item's category and enhancement warning before deciding whether a proposed upgrade falls within the reported safe range.
Beyond those thresholds, the guide warns of increased failure risk and the possibility of equipment destruction. Prioritizing a weapon does not mean pushing it indefinitely beyond its reported safe cap. Do not treat a listed safe cap as a prediction of the odds for an attempt beyond it, or assume that destruction risk disappears. For a piece you intend to keep, distinguish an ordinary investment decision from an attempt that could destroy the equipment.
Build your material supply through quests and dungeons
Green missions provide experience together with resources for enchanting and weapon upgrades. Work them into your main objectives when practical, since alternating nearby tasks can reduce backtracking across the map. This gives your equipment plan a material source while you continue progressing through quests. It also lets you pursue required upgrades through available mission rewards instead of focusing exclusively on obtaining more equipment.
Large dungeons become another important source of progression materials after completing the first story chapter, around level 32 according to the global guide. Chapter completion is part of that description, so reaching the approximate level alone should not be treated as the complete unlock requirement. The guide names Abyss of Creation, Faded Ruins, and Origin of Evolution as normal dungeons with daily resets. It describes a typical daily farming allowance of one hour and drops including crafting materials, portrait repair items, gold, and enhancement materials.
Daily missions provide another resource stream, including Artifacts and Trinity. They can also award chests that may contain epic-quality items, which makes those rewards a possibility rather than a guaranteed equipment plan. Use the dependable resource categories to guide your routine without assuming an Epic item will arrive on schedule. Together, missions and accessible dungeons offer ways to gather resources while you reserve enhancement spending for selected equipment.
Budget for the other systems competing with gear
Gold supports both skill acquisition and equipment upgrades, so an equipment purchase competes with other character needs. Trinity also has several uses, including equipment crafting, discipline, magic research, and attribute resetting. These overlapping costs explain why a promising equipment upgrade still needs to fit your available currency. Global-version guidance specifically warns against spreading limited resources across gear, skills, collections, discipline, artifacts, and magical research simultaneously at the start.
Saving resources does not require ignoring the Gold Shop altogether. Global-launch guidance highlights upgrade materials and Class Portrait Kit Chests there, noting that portrait-related chests can improve base attributes. Consider those items alongside planned equipment and skill spending, rather than assuming every available purchase fits your budget. Prioritize shop items that support your current plan while preserving gold for the skills and equipment upgrades you still need.
Compare collection gains, Black Market exchanges, and sales
Equipment enhancement is not the only way to build lasting attributes. Side quests help collect Character Codexes, whose collection bonuses remain independent of your currently equipped items. Global-launch guidance also recommends Collection progress and highlights Evasion, Precision, Basic Defense, Skill Damage, Basic Attack, Flat Attack, and damage resistances. Choose collection bonuses relevant to your needs without treating this group of attributes as a strict ranking.
Before registering equipment in Collection, consider whether it has value through the Black Market. Some items can be exchanged for Black Market coins, and those exchanges have a server-wide limit whose amount is not specified in the guidance. Those coins can obtain summoning resources, Evolution Stone Pouches, potions, and even Epic-tier gear. Compare the collection benefit with those alternative uses before committing an eligible item to collection progress.
For tradable equipment, check its market value before encyclopedia registration or disenchanting. Selling a valuable drop for diamonds and using them for other upgrades may support broader development better than keeping a minor attribute gain, but the guide presents this as a possibility. That market sale is separate from exchanging eligible equipment for Black Market coins. Your final decision should weigh the item's long-term equipment role, its collection benefit, and its actual exchange or market value before enhancement consumes more resources.
